Hämeenlinnan A-klinikkatoimen Ehkäisevän päihdetyön yksikön vilkas syksy jatkuu viikolla 46 nuorten tulevaisuustapahtuma Futuurin merkeissä. Futuuri 2011 on messutapahtuma, jossa on esillä neljä nuoren elämän ja tulevaisuuden keskeistä osa-aluetta: opiskelu, työ, yrittäjyys ja vapaa-aika. HAMK:n Visamäen kampuksella järjestettävässä tapahtumassa löytyy mielenkiintoisia näyttelyosastoja sekä ohjelmakokonaisuuksia kaikilta neljältä osa-alueelta.
Hämeenlinnan A-klinikkatoimen Ehkäisevän päihdetyön yksikkö järjestää Futuurissa teemasession ”My life – Seksi vie ja taksi tuo?”, jossa tarkastellaan alkoholin ja seksin yhteenliittymisiä nuorten näkökulmasta. Seksin ja alkoholin yhteenkietoutumisesta nuorten elämässä kertoo esimerkiksi vuoden 2010 Kouluterveyskysely, jonka mukaan merkittävä osa seurustelusuhteessa olevista yläkouluikäisistä hämeenlinnalaisnuorista (25 % ) kertoo olleensa ainakin jonkin verran humalassa viimeksi seksiä harrastaessaan.
Myös alkoholilla ja sukupuolitaudeilla on yhteys, sillä humalassa seksikontaktiin voidaan ajautua harkitsemattomasti ja kondomin käyttö unohtuu herkästi. Kouluterveyskyselyn tulokset osoittavat edelleen, että lähes joka neljäs (24 %) 8.-9.-luokkalainen hämeenlinnalaisnuori kokee seksistä kieltäytymisen olevan päihtyneenä hankalaa.
A-klinikkatoimen My life -sessiossa alkoholin ja seksin yhteyksiä käsitellään Tarinateatterin keinoin. Tarinateatteri on sellaista improvisaatioteatteria, jossa esiintyvä ryhmä tekee näyttämölle yleisön kertomia tositarinoita. Tarinateatterin esitykset nähdään Futuuri-tapahtumassa keskiviikkona 16.11. klo 12.30 ja 13.30 (ohjaus Riitta Harilo). Lisäksi My life -sessiossa kuullaan Tyttöjen talon asiantuntijoiden nuorten parissa hankituista työkokemuksista ammentava puheenvuoro siitä, miten päihteet liittyvät nuoren seksuaalisuuteen.
